


RVO Racings Team Captain, Lee Allen is a strong all round rider who has great leadership skills and contributes week in week out in races. He organizes the team in races and plays a key role in RVO Racings success over the past 3 years. Lee is always smilling before and after races and alwasy gives 100% effort. He aims to ride in the Premier Calender Series as well as local events this season. A true Yorkshire lad, Lee is a dedicated rider and valuer member of the team. We are expecting great things from our Team Captain this season.

Nottingham based rider, Phil Giles aka T.K (Too Keen) is a crit racing specialist with a fast finish. Phil works extremely hard to make sure RVO Racing gets the best results possible at the end of races. Hes a good listener and is always learning to become the best rider he can be. Going into his second season with the team, he aims to get his1st Cat license and win at least 5 races by the end of the season. Phil will be riding in Premier Calender races as well as local events in 2012. A former champion motor cyclist, his sharp bike handling and fast sprinting ability makes Phil one of RVO Racings top crit riders.

One of RVO Racings new signings for 2012, Ben Last has the qualities to do well this season. The 20 year old from Rotherham has shown his strength on the team training rides and cant wait to start racing. Hes a strong rider whos a team player and has good listening skills. Ben is always learning and always gives 100% in races. Ben will be riding in both local and national races this season. Aiming for his first cat, Ben will be one to watch this year.

Pete Middlehurst is a light, aggressive all rounder with a strong sprinting ability. Making his debut season with the RVO Racing, Pete`s main aim this year is to win races in National Crit series. Pete is a crit specialist and also a very good cross rider. With a strong team supporting him in races Pete is expecting to gain some good results in 2012. We are delighted to have Pete on board this year.

RVO Racings latest signing Simon Maudsley is an equally strong road and cross rider. Simon cant wait to start racing again after a successfull winters racing in the Yorkshire Points and National Trophy Series. Based near Leeds, Simon is a hard working, good all rounder with a strong climbing ability. We look forward to have Simon on board with us this season.

After a successful 2011 road season, Ollie Pearce is hungry for more. Ollie is currently studying at university and combines his studies with a heavy training schedule.The 21 year old joined RVO Racing aiming to win more races and learn to work well together as a team unit. Ollie is a talented climber with a fast finish and will be one to watch this year in his debut season with RVO Racing.

Mick Rowson is a very strong all round rider who loves helping other riders in the team to become successful. At the age of 52, Mick still has what it takes and shows the youngsters a thing or two. Mick is one of the top cross riders in the country having finished 3rd in the National Rankings and becoming the North of England Cyclo X champion. A rider who dominates in races and is respected by many, Mick will once again be a valued member of RVO Racings success this season.

RVO Racings key man at the end of races, Tim Rowson is a very strong sprinter and a gutsy rider. He won the North Midlands Road Race League last season and plans on defending his title as well as dominating in other road races across the UK and Europe. Tim has a similar sprint style to Tom Boonen and aims to be just as successful. Tim loves racing in the rain and is also a very handy track rider. Tim is aiming for his 1st Cat and will be riding in the Premier Calendar and National Crit series in 2012. We believe that Tim can go far in the sport.

RVO Racings latest addition to the team, Andrew Westaney has shown his strength on the team training rides and cant wait to start racing in the RVO Racing team colours. Going into his first season with RVO Racing Andrew aims to get his 2nd cat license and do his best to support the team in races. Andrew is a good climber who is as strong on the flat as he is in the hills. With a strong team supporting him this season he`ll will be one to watch in the North Midlands Road Race League B Group this season.
Development Team

Nottingham based rider, Richard Anderson works extremely hard to make sure RVO Racing get the best result possible in races. He`s a good listener and is always learning to become the best rider he can be. After a bad crash in 2011, Richard is now getting his confidence back and is ready to show everyone what he`s got.

Youth Development rider Alex Littlewood has the qualities to go far in the sport. A hard working, strong sprinter who is keen to learn, Alex looks up to the other riders in the team. When Alex isn`t racing he loves supporting the team at the side of the road. Alex can`t wait to start racing in the North Midlands Road Race League in 2012. We are expecting great things from the RVO youngster this season.
Management Team

Team Manager Ian Littlewood is a motivated, keen cycling fanatic who started the whole team from scratch. Going into its 3rd road season RVO Racing had a great season last year achieving all its set targets for the year. This season Ian has set bigger challenges for the team ahead and believes he has a team of champions this season. Hard working and a great leader Ian will be driving the team car behind in high profile races and on the team training rides.
Team Mechanic Barry Parker is a qualified Cytec level 3 mechanic who has been in the bike trade for 17 years working at a frame builders. Currently Polaris Bikewear UK sales manager, Barry loves to compete in Triathlon`s, Duathlon`s, mountain biking and road racing. Part of the RVO Racing Development Squad, Barry aims to help the team in races and aims to be successful in group B at the North Midlands Road Race League this year.

Team Medic and Masseur Chris Last is a fully qualified masseur who currently works at Planet X in Rotherham. Father of Ben Last, Chris will be racing in LVRC races and local TLI and BCF races for the RVO Racing Development Squad. As well as racing, Chris will help our riders who may have injurys or just need a good rub. Chris is a strong rider who can read a race. We look forward to working with Chris this season.
